Chris and Stephanie Fetrow began their Real Estate careers in 2006 as the Real Estate market across the country was taking a steep downturn. Chris' Mom was actually a Realtor many years before and even discouraged them from getting into this business!
Chris was serving in the US Air Force and met Stephanie while she was a college student overseas. She worked for the University and later after they married she worked for a Defense Contractor until they returned Stateside. This was the first time Chris considered the calling to the world of Real Estate. But he was recruited by a large Fortune 100 company into finance. Stephanie was able to quickly put her experience in the Defense Contract world to use, so now both were off to corporate careers outside of the Military.
They had two children in tow at this point, and one was diagnosed with a terminal debilitating muscle disease. It wasn't long before Chris and Stephanie both felt a calling to work that served people on a more personal level, rather than in a corporate setting. So they each found themselves seeking new roles. Stephanie as a Children's Minister, and Chris as a Teacher. During this time they were blessed with two more children.
After nine years of Teaching Chris once again felt such a strong calling to the world of Real Estate that he said... Mom can't talk us out of it this time. Which leads us to where this story started at the top of the page... in 2006.
Chris and Stephanie both became licensed Realtors and put their contract, management, leadership, and teaching skills along with their compassion for other people to use as Realtors and never looked back. All of these "natural traits" and the experiences we had moving around the world, made working together to help people through the most important financial decision of their lives something we absolutely enjoy doing every day. We entered this business when many were leaving. Leaving because they did not know how to "take care of people" while protecting those people's most valuable assets. We do, and because of that, in 2017 we moved into the ranks of the top 1% of all Real Estate Teams in the country!
We were also joined by our oldest daughter in 2018 as she graduated college with a degree in Marketing and right away got her Real Estate License. She has always been somewhat of a kindred spirit of her Grandmother, so now she carries on as a third generation Realtor in the footsteps of her Grandmother and her Father.
- When it comes to marketing and selling a home there are very few teams (or individual agents for that matter) in the area that go to the lengths that we do. As an example, we are one of the few Realtors in town with the equipment to do a 3D tour of every home we market to sell. That means all the people who received “Virtual Reality” goggles for Christmas or Birthday gifts will be able to actually walk through the house as well. Buyers today want to see a home online first and will remove homes with poor pictures from their list of consideration. Doesn’t your home deserve the best representation with HD video and 3D imagery that captures a buyers attention?
- We have a dedicated team of full time experienced Agents to represent home buyers as they search for the right home and work to secure a contract in this very active market. The sellers Agent is contractually obligated to make sure they get the best deal for the seller they represent (this includes the builders representative sitting in the model home for the builder). Get a dedicated Buyers Agent to represent you. That Agent will be contractually obligated to work for you as a buyer. There are many things an experienced Buyers Agent can do to help a buyer present a stronger offer in a multiple offer situation and have a better chance of being the “winning” offer, even if it is not the highest offer! Most of the time that Buyers Agent is paid by the Sellers Agent or Builders Representative even though they are representing the buyer so you are getting representation at no cost to you but it will save you money.
- We have multiple agents on our team that are experienced relocation agents working with the largest relocation companies. - We have Cartus Relocation Certified Agents for buyer or seller - We have Paragon Relocation trained Agents - We have USAA Movers Advantage trained Agents - We are part of a Cartus Platinum Brokerage. Everyone may not understand what Cartus, Paragon, or USAA are so I will tell you that 2 of them are a couple of the largest relocation companies moving corporate workers around the country. Dallas is a huge relocation market with many people relocating in and out every year. We have the experience of working with these agencies and the people that they move.
